This Privacy Policy explains what information Ledgize ("Ledgize," "we," "us") collects through ledgize.com (the "Site"), how it is used, and the choices you have. This page covers only this website; it does not cover the separate systems used to deliver bookkeeping and advisory services to engaged clients, which are governed by your signed engagement agreement.

Information we collect

The Site itself has no backend, database, or contact form. Information reaches us only through two channels, both of which you choose to use:

• Booking a call: the "Book Your Free Books Health Check" buttons link to our Google Calendar (Google Workspace) scheduling page. Google collects your name, email address, and scheduling details directly, under Google's own privacy policy. We receive your booking details from Google Calendar but the Site does not separately collect or store them.
• Emailing us: the Site's "Prefer email?" section links to ali@ledgize.com and includes a button that copies that address to your clipboard. Anything you choose to send by email is received in our email account, under our email provider's standard practices.

The Site does not run its own server-side code, so it cannot log, store, or process any of this information itself.

Analytics

At this time, the Site does not run any analytics or tracking tool. If analytics is added in the future, our intent is to use a privacy-focused, cookie-less tool (such as Plausible) that does not track you across other websites and does not collect personally identifiable information. If a cookie-based tool is used instead, this policy will be updated first and a cookie-consent banner will be added.

How we use information

Any information we receive through a Google Calendar booking or a direct email is used solely to:

• Respond to your inquiry
• Schedule and prepare for your Free Books Health Check
• Maintain records related to prospective and active client relationships

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

Data retention

Booking information sent through Google Calendar is stored in our Google Workspace account, under Google's privacy policy. Emails you send us directly are retained according to standard practices in the mailbox that receives them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under regimes such as the GDPR in the UK/EU or applicable privacy laws in Australia, Canada, and the United States), you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information you've sent us. To exercise any of these rights, email us at ali@ledgize.com.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
